Waterworld are currently seeking experienced Customer Service specialists for casual employment opportunities as a Customer Service Officer from September 2020 through to April 2021.

As a Customer Service Officer at Waterworld you are required to work both front of house customer service as well as in a functioning café.

You must be willing to work in a team environment. You must have excellent communication skills and enjoy providing high levels of customer service to all members of the community. Your ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, and show an ability to demonstrate initiative whilst always maintaining a positive attitude is a must.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Cash handling experience.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Flexible and reliable and adapt to a changing environment.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Experience using computer and point of sale databases and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Be willing to undertake food handling service training.
  • Excellent Customer Service (in person and over the phone)

Previous experience in other fast paced customer service roles is a must and previous sales experience will also be highly regarded.

Customer Service Officers are required to possess the following:

  • DCSI Clearance, Child Related Employment Screening
  • Child Safe Environments Certificate (Responding to Abuse and Neglect)
  • Provide First Aid Certificate – highly regarded

These positions are casual and there are no minimum hours per week. Hours will depend on your work ethic, availability and of course the weather. We are ideally seeking candidates who are fully available over the school holidays including the Christmas and New Year break.

Successful applicants will need to undergo a pre-employment drug. Selected Customer Service Officers will need to be available for all mandatory training and induction days throughout September.
