Our client is leading national manufacturing business known for providing a valuable service to its customers internally and externally. As this national business continues to grow they are looking to strengthen their customer service team and offering a great leader to take this exciting opportunity and take the team to next level.

Purpose of Position: This role is responsible for developing and leading a customer support team to deliver the highest level of customer service to their customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Improve customer service experience
  • Take ownership of customer issues and follow problems through to resolution with a hands-on approach
  • Develop and implement service procedures, policies, and standards for the department
  • Mentor and develop customer service team and nurture an environment where they can excel
  • Evaluate and performance manage staff
  • Plan, prioritise and delegate work tasks to ensure proper functioning of the department
  • Identify and address staff training and coaching needs

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Proven working experience as a Customer Service Manager
  • Ability to think strategically and to lead
  • Hands-on approach and not afraid to get involved
  • Advanced problem analysis and multi-tasking skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to supervise and manage staff
  • Flexibility
