Randstad are currently seeking career minded contact centre professionals to join one of Australia’s largest banks within their Contact Centre. This is a full time permanent position and the hours of work will be Monday - Friday on a rotating roster 7:30am-7:30pm. Your weekly hours of work will be 37.5 hours.

The main core of this role is to provide excellent customer service satisfaction to existing and prospective customers, employers and financial advisers regarding products and services You will be working in a dynamic, fast-paced, target-driven and high-volume environment within a culture and working environment unlike any other. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage service inquiries for existing customers across a range of products and services and act as a first point resolution officer for inbound banking inquiries
  • You are required to deepen and retain customer relationships through retention of products and services.
  • Act with urgency and respond to customer inquiries or requests immediately
  • Assist and educate our customers in learning banking technology that enhances their banking experience and helps them to grow
  • Influence, educate and migrate customers to self-service technology and mobile options
  • Always look for new opportunities to delight our customers
  • Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of customer experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong background in customer service
  • Tertiary qualification desirable, however not essential
  • Professionalism and empathy when handling inbound and outbound calls
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Proven examples of strong customer focus and dispute resolution
  • Have capability to assist customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Undertake administrative duties as required
  • Possess high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
