    About your new role

    As customer service agent, you will be responsible for responding to incoming customer requests received through multiple channels, including phone and email, following the Department policies to solve customer enquiries. As the first point of contact for customers, you will need to have a commitment to customer service and an ability to make quick and accurate decisions.

    • Assessing customers for eligibility for EAPA vouchers and work with energy retailers to assist customers,
    • Being the first point of contact first point of contact for internal and external customers through effective and timely communication, issuing of vouchers and reports.
    • Evaluating energy rebate customer applications and provide contact centre services for the energy rebates, including email and phone support.

    What you will need

    The customer service agents are often the first point of contact for the Department. It is essential that you enjoy providing a high level of customer service treating customers with honesty, fairness, sensitivity and dignity.

    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
    • High level of professionalism and work ethic
    • Strong problem solving abilities, especially in a fast-paced environment
    • A positive and resilient outlook
    • Advanced computer literacy skills and able to pick up new systems quickly
    • Previous experience in a contact centre

    There are multiple roles available working from Parramatta. You will need to be available for a minimum of 6 months.
