job description

My client is a global drilling firm with a strong presence in WA. They are currently looking for a strong Customer Order Administrator to join their team. This is an amazing permanent full-time opportunity

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage sales order to meet customer requirements
  • Review Rental orders with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing and Service / Aftermarket as needed to ensure equipment and running tool suitability in the field
  • Issue packing lists and instruction to Warehouse for pick, pack and issue of gate pass / delivery orders. Communicate with customer regarding such planning
  • Coordinate with Engineering for stack-up drawings and test procedures
  • Monitor and Report Sales Order status to Sales or Customer; work with Material and Production planners to provide a reliable progress schedule.
  • Tracking of equipment and running tools within customer’s online portal(s), as required



Sales Support


  • Assist Territory Managers with customer communications
  • Prepare Invoice Approval Vouchers
  • Review logistics costs against orders and approve for processing
  • Verify Letters of Credit / Documentary Credits (UCP 600) on compliance
  • Performance Guarantee application with Bankers & Finance



Job Requirement:

  • Degree in relevant business or technical discipline or a Diploma
  • Minimum three years of relevant core skills experience.
  • Preferred with related Product experience (i.e. Subsea / Surface equipment, Casing Conductor, Mud-line etc.) OR Technical / Manufacturing experience or knowledge
  • Experience in a ERP/SAP environment
  • Letter of Credit / Documentary Credit
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office Suite software
