job description

This government agency is currently seeking a Customer Insights Lead to join the Service Transformation team. This newly created role is responsible to further mature the customer insights approach to better measure operational service performance and develop corresponding CEM strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a baseline view of the current, relevant customer insights available to support new product/services, service performance and customer experience strategies
  • Develop the market engagement strategy to establish a new customer insights methodology including finalising tenders with the procurement team
  • Embed the chosen Customer Insights approach within the wider team including ensuring that business are planning adequately captures the financial, capability and staffing levels necessary to support the new approach
  • Execute on any existing research/reporting obligations and establish a transition plan to the new customer insights approach


Key Requirements:

  • Proven background in establishing new Customer Insights practises in mature organisations (public or private sector) dealing with large pools of data
  • Superior analytical skills with the ability to consolidate multiple data sets to establish a coherent evidence base
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in PowerBI, SQL, Tableau would advantageous
