About the Opportunity

I am representing an organisation within the NSW Government space that are offering an opportunity within their respective HR Division, with this particular role located in Sydney, decent money, flexible working options, with a focus on facilitating change & implementing capability uplift strategy across the business that view the HR unit as transactional, rather than a strategic business partner.

About the role

You will be someone who is comfortable working with senior stakeholders in a change management or organisational development space, responsible for a wide range of tasks including culture change operations, engagement & buy-in, as well as adhering to an existing capability uplift schedule. You will be working under an OD & Engagement Director with presents an opportunity for up skilling and career growth from a contract role.

The role is best suited to someone with strong Culture Change projects background with a keen interest in workforce psychology or organisational development. You will likely be looking for a role that offers senior responsibility, but not quite manager-level duties.

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role, but in short you will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role (Organisational Development or Design, L&D, Culture & Engagement, Capability, Organisational Change, etc)
  • Strong communication and engagement skills
  • Ability to fit in with a small, collaborative team that puts culture first
  • Experience working with a complex organisation or State Gov’t highly regarded, but not necessary
