One of our government clients within Correctional Services is looking for an administration and switchboard operator to join an exiting team located in the Parramatta area.
In this role you would be responsible for booking visitors and processing them in and out of the Centre. This is a customer service role and includes; handling phone bookings, receipting cash deposits and processing visitors in and out of the Centre. As well as ad hoc admin duties as required.
The role is shift-work (which includes Public Holidays and weekends), the roster rotates to ensure all can share weekends and public holidays off. It is a full time work load, 38 hours per week, working hours would be 8am-4pm.
To be successful for this role you would need the following experience:
- Professional phone manner and exceptional presentation.
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to deal with people from diverse backgrounds, values and cultures/able to relate with people at all levels with an empathic but logical attitude.
- Experience from face to face customer service and reception essential
