    Our Client

    Randstad are delighted to have partnered up with an organisation that are leaders in producing and supplying sustainable energy solutions to households and businesses. They are looking for a Corporate Accountant to join the Group Reporting team.

    About the Opportunity

    As the Corporate Accountant you will report to the Group Reporting Manager, assisting in accounting and external reporting and financial management. Your key responsibilities will include but limited to;

    • Preparation of management and statutory reporting for Australian entities, including the shareholder SPVs
    • Prepare monthly in-month forecasts for the Australia and Chile Group entities
    • Analysis and interpretation of the monthly results, including meaningful variance analysis and business focused performance commentary
    • Assist in the preparation and collating of the business unit annual reporting packages
    • Assist in the year-end audit process, ensuring issues and recommendations are dealt with in a timely manner
    • Assist in the maintenance of lease model, performance of lease accounting, and reporting of actual, budget and forecast positions.
    • Reconciliation of general ledger accounts as allocated on the reconciliations register


    Ideal Profile

    • You will be CA/CPA qualified, or working towards
    • You will have strong communication skills, both written and oral
    • You will have a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work within a team and autonomously
    • Demonstrated solid knowledge and understanding of accounting standards, coupled with understanding of the key components of management and statutory reporting
    • Advanced Excel skills essential, SAP and BPC experience advantageous
