job description

I'm currently looking for an experienced Senior Control Systems Engineer

Key accountabilities include:

  • Perform high level Control Systems Engineering activities
  • Plan your resource allocation to support new and existing operations
  • Provide review and input into P&IDs and control circuits
  • Prepare specifications, data sheets and materials requisitions
  • Review and approve vendor documentation
  • Develop process control system functional specifications working in conjunction with Process Engineers
  • Participate in multi-discipline HAZOP reviews

The successful applicant will have

  • Minimum of 5-10 years as a Control Systems Engineer
  • Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation and Controls
  • Proficient PLC programming on Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, Omron and GE platforms.
  • Very strong proficiency on Siemens S7 platform
  • Proficient in the design & implementation of SCADA systems using Citect, ClearSCADA, FactoryTalk View and WinCC.
  • RPEQ prefered
