Initially a 2 year position, where your key responsibilities will include:

• Provide expert advice on goods and services contracts, supply arrangements, consultancy contracts (e.g., AS4122), and works contracts (e.g. AS4000, GC21).
• Identify and manage risks throughout the life cycle of capital and operational projects.
• Manage disputes, claims, and financial monitoring to ensure timely resolutions to meet category objectives.
• Continuously track contract performance within budget, ensuring legislative compliance with WH&S, EPA, and construction regulations throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Assist divisions in delivering operational tasks by developing, leading, and executing contract management plans and sourcing strategies to optimize value for money.
• Liaise with managers, supervisors, council officers, public authorities, and contractors to ensure smooth contract implementation and adherence to the council’s operational plans.
• Continuously stay updated on relevant legislative and contractual requirements to maintain high-quality contract management
