job description

Contracts administrator required to perform management of project documents in a commercial construction environment. Position requires consistent liason with project manager/construction manager and contracted staff.

Progressive organisation looking for contracts administrator for commercial construction developments in local Illawarra Region. Contribute your project experience in a well established company with avenues of career progression and development.

Duties Include:

  • Manage project contracts
  • Planning and implementation of budgets
  • Creation of working scopes
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Tender review and submission
  • Price, review, submit and follow up all contract variation approvals
  • Procurement and account management

Essential Criteria:

  • Recent experience in contract management
  • Proven industry experience in commercial construction
  • Tertiary qualifications in construction and or/Engineering
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role

Desirable Criteria:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strategic decision making skills
  • Ability to organise daily requirements
  • OH&S Cert IV
  • Senior first aid
  • General Construction Industry Induction Card (Red or White)
  • Tender creation and implementation experience
