An opportunity for a Contracts Administrator is now available to join a leading commercial and procurement team based in Adelaide. In this role, the successful applicant will play a crucial part in delivering efficient and timely contractual, commercial, administrative, and procedural support. This position presents an exciting opportunity for individuals aspiring to advance their career within the Commercial/Contracts discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer contractual, commercial, and administrative assistance
- Maintain and update contract and tender records
- Provided assistance with the evaluation of tenders and other contractual documents
- Assist in fulfilling ad hoc customer requests, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for enhancing commercial/contract structures, processes, and systems, and contribute to their implementation
- Prepare minor contract change proposals, agreements, and correspondences
Selection Criteria
- Preferred tertiary qualifications in law or commerce
- Prior experience in contract administration within defence, mining, manufacturing, or government sectors is advantageous
- Exceptional communication skills coupled with a proactive approach and strong organisational abilities
- Proficient in analytical thinking, negotiation, prioritisation, and fostering customer relations
