Highly professional commercial builder - D&C specialist – handy offices near Monash Freeway
Proof bigger is not always better – interesting projects to $20m
Rub shoulders and work close directly with your PM and Directors daily

The Opportunity ...

You will be overseeing a $15m commercial/industrial project - an HQ for a national retailer with high end offices and warehouse facilities attached
With the existing CA having an extended career break there will be ample time for a full project handover - you will be office based but with the site a short drive away you will never be far from the action on site
A clear path to PM available if desired - the company Directors take pride in mentoring & developing their staff

Responsibilities

Cost forecasting, budget monitoring & reporting
Varation creation & control, raising of EOT's and NOD's
Preparation and mangement of monthly progress claims in tandem with your PM
Raising and monitoring RFI's
Subcontractor managment
Attending site meetings, inspections and stakeholder liaison (client/superintendent), statutory authoritites and architects/consultants
Assisting with project programming and preparation of project reports
Support and liaison with SM, Foreman, OHS/Labourer and Company Directors

Experience/Qualifications Required

Tertiary qualifictions in Construction Management or equivalent coupled with CA or PC experience on commercial building projects
A sold grounding in cost control and track record in dealing with a variety of commercial subcontractors
An ability to read and interpret plans and be able to liaise with site staff, subcontractors and clients/consultants
Good communications skills and an ability to buid and maintain lasting relationships with project stakeholders - repeat clients and ongoing subcontractor relationships are key in the company's culture and ongoing success
