This builder/developer is a stalwart of the Melbourne construction scene, and has also successfully completed projects across the country. With a track record on projects spanning commercial, industrial, aged care, retail, and apartments they have an impressive range of architects, clients and joint venture partners that have ensure that continued growth and success.

They are now seeking a CA to join the team and work closely with a Senior PM on a prominent $35m apartment build in Melbourne’s SE suburbs. This project is already underway with the bulk of structure already let so is a great opportunity to join the group and learn the systems and procedures before the project ramps up later in the year. With a great team approach to building your core responsibilities will include:

  • Procure, package and negotiate sub-contracts through to final account
  • Head contracts administration of all claims, variations, progress payments & contract correspondence
  • Strong budget management and reporting skills
  • Preparation of monthly management reports.

To be considered for this role you must have proven experience with a head contractor on commercial build projects, have a track record in negotiating and managing sub-contracts, and be a strong communicator with strong organisation skills. Cheops experience benefical but not essential. A salary package in the $100k-$140k range is available, dependent upon experience.
