This Construction build contractor are looking to recruit a Contract Administrator for the next 3/6 months.

Company Profile:

Based in the western suburbs this well established construction company has been running for over 20 years. Specialising in the design and build of of projects within commercial build, industrial and fit out.

Responsibilities of the role:

As the Contract Administrator you will be responsible for;

  • Working with the Estimators to assist in tenders
  • Manage contractual opportunity and liability in line with company policy and procedures
  • Raise and update project cash-flows as required by the client and branch
  • Review drawings and specifications to understand the programmed construction process
  • Review and process all subcontractor payments ensuring Security of Payment legislation is met
  • Submit and agree monthly client progress claims ensuring all are submitted in a timely manner and in strict accordance with the contract
  • Update monthly forecasts for trades, prelims and supervision
  • Report to the Project Manager and Construction Manager on a regular basis and advise current or potential issues

Skills and experience of the Junior Contracts Administrator

  • Trade or tertiary qualification in Building, Construction or Engineering
  • Minimum 3 year's experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Time management and planning skills including knowledge regarding lead times for deliveries and trade work
  • Experience with Jobpac highly regarded
