The Company

We have an exciting opportunity for a proven Contract Administrator to join one of the leading Medical Fitout groups in Melbourne. Established in NSW over 15 years ago, they successfully opened up an office in Melbourne a few years back, and have been growing ever since. Due to this growth, they have an opportunity starting as soon as possible, reporting into the Project Managers and working closely with another CA. With this group, projects typically have a full lifecycle of around 16 weeks and values of projects are up to $2m.

The Role

Due to this growth, they have an opportunity starting as soon as possible. Working hand in hand with the Project Management and site team your key responsibilities will include: Sub contract/supplier procurement, negotiation, award and letting contract documents. Review and assess supplier invoices and sub contractor progress claims and payments. Produce monthly project reports for senior management. Investigate, review and submit contract variations. With this group, projects typically have a full lifecycle of around 16 weeks and values of projects are up to $2m.

The Candidate

The right candidate will be a proven Contract Administrator with at least 3 years experience. You must also have worked with a similar fitout & refurb group ideally on similar commercial projects.

Other core skills will include:

  • Procure, package and negotiate sub-contracts through to final account
  • Administration of all claims, variations, progress payments and contract correspondence
  • Strong budget management and reporting
  • Accurate preparation of monthly management reports
