Randstad Tasmania has a new opportunity for a Concrete Remediation Specialist to work with a respected client across mulitple remediation projects across Northern Tasmania. This role is an ASAP start with ongoing work.

This role is a Monday – Friday role with potential overtime and weekend work available.

Information about the role:

This role requires the ability to mulit-task and is suitable to someone looking for a position where there are varied daily duties with the opportunity to grow and learn in a fast paced environment. You will need to be flexible with availability.
Are you self motivated? This role requires the ability to work effectively both as a team player and unsupervised.

You will also possess a strong commitment to safety by ensuring all work is conducted according to site safety procedures and guidelines.

In this role you will complete a variety of duties, inclusive of;

• High Pressure Hydro Demolition & Surface Preparation
• Gunite, or similar, spraying
• Industrial blasting & painting
• Manual labouring tasks
• Operation of hand and power tools
• General construction and assisting tradesmen in day-to-day duties.

To be considered for the role the following is required:

• Hydro blasting experience – HPWJ/UHWJ Operator & or Assistant with the below competencies
  - MSMSS00017 Use high pressure water jetting equipment.
  - MSMSS00018 Operate a high-pressure water jetting system.
• Gunite or Similar spraying experience
• Remediation experience
• White Card
• Current Drivers Licence and reliable transport
• Physically strong and able to work around water
• Highly motivated and strong work ethic in team dynamics
