Compliance Officer - Funds Management

Summary

Opportunity to join a global asset manager who are looking for a Compliance Officer who is experienced with Fund Management Compliance or Fund Administration.

The Role

  • Provide advice and daily support to the business in respect of compliance matters while fostering a strong culture of compliance in the company
  • Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Internal Audit and other business units
  • Identify and keep up to date on the relevant laws, regulations and rules and industry standards and best practices pertaining to such products, services and business lines.
  • Perform regular compliance monitoring and reporting functions. Identify, investigate, and report on compliance breaches and issues. Monitor status of remedial actions of breaches and issues
  • Prepare regular compliance reports to clients and trustees, internal boards and committees

You

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the financial services industry
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance or Law
  • Self motivated with the ability to get things done
  • Knowledge of financial services laws and regulations
