    Responsibilities:

    • Provide advice, oversight, review and challenge to the business on the management of compliance obligations (including regulatory changes) and associated compliance risks.
    • Manage and maintain compliance with Australian financial services and credit licence obligations including related policies, minimum standards and associated processes.
    • Promote a strong risk and compliance culture across the company.
    • Ensure that the Compliance Management Framework and related policies and minimum standards are effectively communicated via targeted training sessions and regular interaction.
    • Provide support, guidance and assistance to junior team members in the Compliance team, and more broadly across the Risk and Compliance team

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a Compliance position in the financial services industry.
    • Big4 Consulting or Banking experience would be advantageous.
    • Demonstrated senior stakeholder management skills.
    • Experience responding to Regulator enquiries, requests for information and formal submissions.
    • Demonstrated ability to interpret, analyse and apply legislation/regulation in a business-focused context
