About the organization

I am representing an organization within the NSW Government space that are offering an opportunity to join their respective Assets Management Division as a Compliance Inspection Officer, with this particular role based in Campbelltown, great money, and a focus on Public Housing and existing assets.

About the role

You will be someone who is experienced at assessing and reporting on field inspection activities/outcomes to verify contractor compliance with maintenance contract requirements. You will utilise your previous maintenance/contractor auditing experience to verify that contractors have taken appropriate measures and kept up to code when undertaking projects.

The role is heavy in stakeholder management across a large portfolio and will require someone that is adept at working in a Public Housing environment.

Travel Required - 80% of the role - Daily travel required to undertake site inspections

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role, but in short you will have:

  • High level skills and experience in Compliance Inspections, Building Maintenance, or Asset/Quality Audits in building environments
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and engagement experience with the ability to liaise with diverse clients.
  • 2x references and a valid Working With Children’s Check (WWCC) required
  • Experience working with a complex organisation or State Gov’t highly regarded
