Randstad has recently acquired the SA Council Solutions contact consisting of 6 local Councils within the metropolitan area. Based in the Northern suburbs, you will join an established Place Activation division.

As Community Planner: Place Activation you will be responsible for the implementation of programs, projects and events with the aim to activate places within the local community. Your strong and professional communication skills will be key in assisting you as you develop and maintain partnerships between government and non-government organisations, businesses and the community.

As Community Planner: Place Activation, your main duties will include:

  • Coordination and support for 4-8 large main events
  • Planning, implementation and reporting of community events sponsorship program
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with all internal and external key stakeholders
  • Compliance with WHS requirements and Council Codes of Conduct

You will bring with you, your:

  • Demonstrated coordination of events and budgets
  • High-level verbal and written skills
  • Experience working on community-based projects
  • Local Government experience and knowledge
  • Professional approach and ability to liaise with a diversity of stakeholders
