job description

Initial six month, 40 hr a week role based on-site in Bankstown assisting the high performing Projects Team, the environment is fast paced with a large amount of projects happening concurrently.

Key Accountabilities:

  • All external and internal communications regarding projects, this includes residents, businesses and stakeholders
  • All inbound enquiries
  • Coordination of communication assets such as project boards, flyers, social media, photography, media releases, shade cloth and signage
  • Communicating Capital Works Program with The Executive Leadership Team
  • Liaise with the community, businesses and stakeholders on work that may impact them
  • Execute the Communications plan of minor projects
  • Distribute and develop flyers
  • Develop FAQs for the Customer Service team
  • Respond to inbound community enquiries
  • There is a leadership opportunity available in this role for the right candidate

Key Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, government or engineering
  • Strong communication skills including exceptional written English and phone manner
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
  • Exceptional time management
  • A valid NSW Driver’s license
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Fluency in a second language is highly regarded but not mandatory
