Position responsibilities
Communication - delivering quality customer service as a technical expert who can translate complex information into simple concepts to facilitate customer understanding and manage expectations; building and maintaining collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, and providing professional representation at industry forums on behalf of Council
Engagement - engaging, advocating and negotiating with members of the public, internal and external stakeholders, delivering excellent customer service to individuals and businesses, building and maintaining collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
Thorough knowledge of community engagement and experience in developing and implementing community engagement strategies across complex infrastructure projects.
Your Skills and experience
Thorough knowledge of community engagement and implementing community engagement strategies across complex infrastructure projects.
Advanced interpersonal and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate with influence and facilitate stakeholder meetings and events.
Advanced written communication skills including the ability to write concise and accurate procedures, reports, correspondence and a range of stakeholder engagement material.
Experience in similar project design and delivery support roles for a council, government or road authority or consulting engineer is highly desirable.
Qualifications and Licenses
Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Communications
Possession of a current “C” class driver’s license
Possession of a current 30215 General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) ticket.
