Our client, a government organisation based in Parramatta are currently seeking an experienced Community Engagement Professional for an immediate start for an initial 3 month contract.

This role works closely with the Project Manager and Communications and Strategy teams to deliver and implement community engagement, marketing, communications and public relations campaigns.


  • Develop high quality engagement plans for assigned projects
  • Produce relevant communications, including Newsletter Articles, Flyers, Social Media posts
  • Provide strategic community engagement advice through out development and delivery
  • Identify and help mitigate identified communication and engagement risks
  • Identify and connecting key events to build an integrated delivery profile and develop opportunities where there may be gaps

Essential Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Communications or similar
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • Experience of working collaboratively as part of a team, and in a cross functional workplace
  • Ability to develop and implement effective communications and engagement strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
