Duties
- Develop and implement best practice strategies to engage and communicate with key stakeholders.
- Support engagement teams in building meaningful relationships
- Identify local community issues, constraints and needs to ensure timely, relevant, and tailored consultation occurs based on local values, concerns and preferences.
- Alongside the Communications and Engagement team, attend in-person engagement events.
- Collate feedback from the in-person engagement activities as part of the deliberative engagement process, with other secretariat duties as required.
- Support the development of collateral and prepare information packages for attendees to support meaningful participation at the in-person engagement events.
- Support the Coordinator of Community Engagement with engagement tasks and to respond to requests from project teams as and when required.
- Manage the development of communications collateral to inform, define and promote projects.
- Monitor and evaluate community and stakeholder engagement activities to identify and action continuous improvement opportunities.
To be successful in this role you must hold:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications
* Minimum 2-3 years experience in the stakeholder or community engagement space
* Previous public sector experience is highly advantageous, however it is not essential.
