About the client and role
My client is a global contracting/EPC company in Power Generation, due to a strong pipeline of projects they're seeking a skilled Commissioning Coordinator to join our dynamic team and lead the commissioning of complex systems, ensuring adherence to high standards and timely project delivery.
... Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Coordination: Lead commissioning teams through factory acceptance testing, installation verification, pre-commissioning, and performance testing.
- Safety & Compliance: Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards. Identify and address hazards, and enforce company policies.
- Technical Expertise: Develop and manage commissioning plans, coordinate resources, and ensure systems meet performance specifications.
- Customer Focus: Build strong customer relationships and deliver services that exceed expectations.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive internal system improvements and enhance external service delivery.
- Communication: Effectively communicate within teams and with stakeholders to ensure clarity and influence project outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Trade or Engineering qualifications
- High voltage experience or qualification (Desirable)
- Hazardous area experience or quals
- Extensive technical knowledge and practical experience of testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning, power generation plant and equipment preferred.
- Proven track record of success in commissioning roles, comfortable with both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
- Industrial control systems experience (Desirable)
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must have a track record of meeting project deadlines and managing budgets effectively.
