In the Albury-Wodonga area, our team are currently recruiting several CNC Operators and CNC Machinists to work with a locally based, national client.

about the role

CNC Operators complete a variety of tasks for our client, so your workday could include:

  • Work within a fast paced, high standards manufacturing environment;
  • Set up tooling;
  • Programming and operating CNC machines;
  • Utilise a range of other machines including brake press, turret punch and routers;
  • Read and interpret drawings;
  • Completing a range of additional tasks to support the team; and
  • Shift work - day or afternoon shifts available.

skills and experience

Suitable candidates for these roles will have:

  • Experience using CNC machines - essential;
  • Recent work experience in an industrial setting (production, manufacturing or trade roles);
  • Trade qualification desirable, but not essential;
  • Experience in metal fabrication an advantage;
  • Understand and interpret workshop drawings;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • A strong ‘team player’ with the proven ability to work efficiently with others;
  • A positive attitude and a strong commitment safety;
  • High level of physical fitness and strength; and
  • Excellent attendance, reliability and attention to detail.
