Clinical Nurse - Community

This leading and reputable community services and aged care provider in QLD is looking for a Clinical Nurse to join their community services team in Townsville. Are you the one we are looking for? The role

Reporting to the Clinical Care Manager/Regional Manager, the Clinical Nurse will be responsible for overseeing five registered nurses. Coordinating the day-to-day clinical activities of care staff to enable the provision of high quality nursing care for patients.

About you

  • Bachelor of Nursing (AHPRA Registration)
  • Knowledge and experience of Aged or Community Clinical Care including home care, treatment and following clinical protocols and procedures
  • Demonstrated experience in working in a diverse team of people, providing encouragement to Personal Care and/or team members you work with
  • Demonstrated ability in achieving team goals and identifying areas of development including training, development and competency skill checks.
  • Dementia care experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understand of Aged Care accreditation standards and legislative requirements of Community care.
