CLINICAL CARE AND INFORMATION OFFICER

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a member of the Clinical Safety & Quality Section, The Clinical Care and Information Officer works to further the goals of providing the highest quality clinical care, client feedback and information management services.

• Ensuring that cases identified as complex or high-risk are referred to the appropriate Open Arms office for follow-up and connection to support services.
• Coordinating the acquisition of organisational legal advice in relation to clinical
  services.
• Liaison with internal and external stakeholders in relation to clinical and legal follow-
  up actions.
• Provision of high level clinical guidance and advice.
• Support a range of clinical and legal quality improvement activities.
• Assist in the development of clinical program policy advice and procedures.

ABOUT YOU:

• Must be a qualified mental health professional and have current registration with AHPRA or AASW
• Keen interest and understanding of clinical care, risk and records management, and ethical and legal obligations around privacy
