Your new role

You will be working directly with clients and their advocates to provide advice and assistance on housing options based on assessment of eligibility and client need and in keeping with relevant legislation, policies and procedures. You will be supported by internal specialists and external service providers and make referrals where additional support requirements are identified to better meet client needs.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role you will have exceptional communication skills with experience in community services or social work. A qualification would be advantageous but experience will be highly regarded. Professionalism for this role is a must as you will be managing tenancies and supporting clients to maintain successful tenancies. Ultimately you will be supporting the community via tenancy support and community participation initiatives to contribute to harmonious neighbourhoods and stronger communities. Having empathy and tact as well as maintaining client confidentiality is a must.

What you'll get in return

You will receive training and guidance on how to best fulfil your duty of care. A 3 month contract with consistent full time hours and generous hourly rate.
