About the company
We are representing a Department within the NSW Government space that are seeking talent within the Customer Service/call centre space. This is a well established government agency that will assist you to develop and expand your public sector experience.
About the role
This role will encompass receiving, recording and progressing phone calls and further involves checking, verifying details of accounts. The role is a 3 month initial contract with high potential to extend and located just outside the CBD.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Receiving calls in a professional manner, obtaining all relevant information discussed and take appropriate action.
• Assisting the customer service team with calls and maintaining appropriate records.
• Assist in preparing reports, data and collation of statistical information for internal and external reporting.
• Preparation, data entry and allocation of ledger journals
• Process and handle payments and documentation
• Manage, monitor and report on key performance indicators
Experience you will have:
• Minimum 3 months of call or contact centre experience
• Strong written and oral communication and problem solving skills
• Strong skills within Microsoft Office and computer systems
• High level of typing speed and accuracy
