Randstad currently have exciting opportunities for Civil A;;-rounders with one of our industry leading clients who have increased their workload due to growing market demands. Working in the water industry, the successful candidate will be working on various projects in the Western Suburbs on a full time/permanent basis in a role that offers long term employment opportunities as well as career progression.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience operating - Excavator (5t), skid steer, front end loader
• Relevant VOC’s (verification of competencies)
• Current drivers license - MR/HR highly regarded
• Confined space ticket or willing to obtain
• Knowledge of Pipelaying, Trenching Excavation and minor Civil Construction activities.
• Capability to read, interpret and apply work plans.
• Capability to work alone, with contractors and out of hours.
• Must be able to pass national police check
• Need to have great communication skills via phone and face to face
• Must have a great positive attitude and open to working as a team and autonomously
• Satisfactory Computer Skills

Your duties are not limited to as follows:

• Work in treatment and water recycled plants
• Digging trenches and general labouring
• Capable of using relative power tools, such as Partner Saws, Wackers, Jack Picks, Chain Saws and Circular Saws
• Minor adjustments to water and sewer mains.
• Clearance of sewer chokes
• Use of a mobile computer tablet and smartphone technologies to complete all tasks
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Other duties as directed
