    Requirement:

    Skout Solutions are seeking Chefs to work at one of our Defence bases at Anglesea Barracks, Tasmania, VIC.
    You will have the opportunity to work 30 - 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday with an hourly rate of $29.59 per hour + Penalties + Super. Shifts generally consist of a split shift from 10.00am - 2.00pm & 3.00pm - 7.00pm. This position has an opportunity to go permanent.

    Chef duties may include:

    • Supporting the Head Chef with daily Mess operations and food service.
    • Meal and Food preparation
    • Operating large-volume cooking equipment such as Grills, Fryers and Oven
    • Managing any cleaning tasks, such as dirty dishes
    • Buffet Style Cooking


    Skills and Experience:

    • Commercial Cookery Certificate III, or above (or equivalent)
    • Experience in a large commercial kitchen
    • Understand special dietary requirements
    • Great attitude towards work and a wanting to learn the role and environment quickly



    As a part of the recruitment process, you will be asked to obtain an Australian Police check and a Pre-Employment Assessment as part of our background checks.
