An exciting long term 24 month Fixed Term Change Manager - Transformation role for a industry leading Government Agency.

Your new company
Randstad are recruiting for an independent Government organisation, whose purpose is to build a confident, resilient Victoria through world-leading harm prevention and recovery. They are currently seeking a Change Manager for a fixed term 24-month period to lead project delivery activities aligned to their wider Transformation program.

Your new role
In your new role you will help shape how the organisation leads change, working with change champions and senior leaders, educating them on how to execute positive change.

  • Partner with the Project Delivery stakeholders to ensure change leadership across projects are fit for purpose and delivers change outcomes.
  • Lead, develop and manage Project Change Management Plans, detailing the approach, key activities, time frames, dependencies, resourcing and risks (current and emerging), ensuring co-ordination and integration of activities across the project.
  • Identify and engage with stakeholders’ groups to consult during the project planning, design and deployment phases, through workshops to identify and quantify change impacts.
  • Develop and implement engagement plans that link to the Transformation change approach and execute activities in line with project delivery milestones.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced change management specialist with 5 years + experience in change management environments, working with industry recognised Organisation Change Management Methodology. Experience in delivering impact assessments, transition plans, communications plans and business assessments will be highly regarded.

  • You demonstrate a proven ability to identify, manage and address risks and issues, including change resistance, with the potential to impact the successful implementation of business change.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, Resilient and effective influencing skills.
  • If your a Business Analyst who has moved into Change management this maybe the right role for you
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, Psychology, Communication Management, Business Administration, Business Management, Human Resources or another related field.

You will be able to further build on your Change Management skills whilst supporting the delivery of all their strategy future initiatives. In addition you will be offered a 24 month fixed term contract where you will be remunerated well.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Government experience is highly desirable
  • Stakeholder liaison and communication both internally and externally
  • Develop policy documents and fact sheets
  • Ability to support schools with general maintenance enquiries as well as the coordination of planned maintenance projects.
  • Set project objectives for elements of the project and ensure that they are delivered on time and to budget
  • Prepare and submit high quality briefings and correspondence to the minister and senior leadership
  • Coordinate and undertake research and analysis relating to the project
