... Join WA’s Tier 1 local government body–the City of Perth–as Change Manager for an ambitious HRIS Implementation that will enable the City in its next phase of development. The City of Perth employs around 700 staff and is based at Council House in the heart of the City.
Reporting to the PMO Manager and with the support of a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in leading the business readiness activities and plans for the HRIS implementation. You will engage senior leaders, the implementation partner, steering committee and the broader workforce to ensure a thorough understanding on project deliverables and proactively work with stakeholders to ensure strong transition and ownership.
This role will see you:
- Partner with senior leaders and delivery teams to ensure organisational needs are understood and agreed by relevant stakeholders.
- Develop all aspects of the Change Management plan strategy and approach required to successfully implement transformational business change across a portfolio of work.
- Preparing affected business areas for transitioning to the new ways of working to ensure cooperative and successful outcomes are achieved and embedded with minimal conflict or disruption.
- Support and promote change management strategies based on situational analysis, clear understanding of the details of changes and awareness of the engagement of staff groups being impacted by the relevant change.
- Work to develop a consolidated view of change across the whole portfolio that can assist in analysing saturation points, excessive complexity and opportunities to synthesise approach to activity.
- Support and deliver key communication activity pertinent to the portfolio and business
- Ensure change management plan dependencies such as stakeholder engagement; current / future state impacts; change readiness; and change sustainability is understood at an organisational level and managed accordingly.
- Undertake other activities to facilitate engagement across the business inclusive of capability development, change leadership coaching, practice evolution etc.
Key requirements:
- Medium- to large-scale change management experience in the public sector
- Change management certification in Prosci and/or ADKAR
- Knowledge of enterprise level cloud-based HR and Payroll solutions, or strong understanding of HR processes and systems
