Are you an experienced Change Management professional in the public sector? We are recruiting for a temporary casual opportunity to work as a Randstad contractor for one of our South Australia Government clients. This role will be based in our client’s Adelaide CBD office.

Our client is a South Australia Government Department based in the Adelaide CBD

Role:

The Change manager Business Transformation is responsible for leading and managing the change management strategy for a new program across the Department. This role is responsible for developing and implementing best practice change management frameworks, strategies and plans that drive stakeholder engagement and foster commitment and adoption of the new business practices. This role will work closely with the Program Manager, the PMO Communications Officer, Project workstreams and other stakeholders to integrate business practice change management strategy and activities into planning and delivery to achieve business preparation, readiness and acceptance of program change.

Skills and experience required:

  • Appropriate tertiary or post-graduate qualification in a business, organisation/ workforce development or relevant human services field is essential. Accredited Change Management Professional Certification i.e. PROSCI would be desirable.
  • Significant relevant experience in planning and delivering business change reform such as major organisational or operational changes, a service redesign or major change process involving extensive business process re-engineering, linked to case management practices.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in working independently under broad direction in the planning, developing, leading of change management using sound change management methodology in am environment with competing priorities an expectations.
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of how people go through a change and the change process.
  • Knowledge of project management approaches, tools and phases of the project life-cycle.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience maintaining effective partnership and collaboration to ensure productive working relationships with senior managers, staff and stakeholders.
  • Superior communication skills including a demonstrated ability to write clear, succinct reports and recommendations with the ability to distil and explain complex issues and concepts in simple terms.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence outcomes.
  • Proven advanced strategic thinking, planning and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of, and ability to manage, the spirit and principles of the Premier’s Safety Commitment Codes of Practice, utilising AS/ NZS ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management.



*All candidates must have a valid National Police and a valid Australian Driver’s License

The role will pay a commensurate government salary paid at a range from $73 to $75 per hour
