job description

This family run childcare centre is not-for-profit and community based. This centre was rated EXCEEDING by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority in June 2017. This centre would be great for you if you would look to wor with a tight knit team with small class sizes.

Whats the day to day like?

You will be working between the rooms and in a floater role enabling you to get to know children in every age group and expand your knowledge of the EYLF framework.

You will:

  • Provide a quality service which not only meets the requirements of the NQS and EYLF but exceeds them.
  • Provide leadership and positive role modelling to Early Childhood professionals to support quality practices and the philosophies and values of the company.
  • Deliver quality education programs and daily routines including spontaneous experiences which meet the needs and interests of each individual child.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the program planned for the children in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • Assist the room leader in the delivery of the educational program.
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families and fellow educators and the broader centre community.
