The Centre:

Opened in January 2018, it provides for the educational needs of 60 three and four-year-old boys and girls who are taught in 3 classes (1 for three year olds and 2 for four year olds). It provides a high quality early years education influenced on philosophical approach used by the preschools in Reggio Emilia, Italy and based on the Early Years Learning Framework.

Children are explicitly taught the learning capabilities of resilience, resourcefulness, reflectiveness and reciprocity. Intentional and spontaneous learning experiences are equally valued in our stimulating indoor and outdoor flexible learning environments where individual learning capabilities are supported and challenged everyday.

The Position:

An exciting opportunity for an Early Childhood Educator – Diploma or Certificate III qualified to commence as soon as possible

About you:

  • Have a Certificate III or Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood and Care;
  • Have a currently approved Child Protection Qualifications for NSW Children’s Services;
  • Hold a current First Aid Certificate and completed Anaphylaxis and Asthma training;
  • Have completed a Statement of Attainment in HLTFSE001 Follow basic food safety practice;
  • Hold a clear Working with Children Check;
  • Be a reflective educator who is committed to ongoing learning;
  • Be passionate about delivering exceptional educational programs;
  • Possess a sound knowledge of the Reggio Emilia Approach and Early Years Learning Framework;
  • Exploit technologies to enhance learning and teaching.
