A non-profit community-based early childhood service located in Canberra’s Inner North. The centre is owned by the parents and administered by a parent management committee.
The centre caters for children aged 0 to 6 years across four rooms. They are located in a purpose-built building with a large playground that has recently been renovated. The proximity to bushland and the Australian National Botanic Gardens allows lots of outdoor exploration and learning experiences.
They are looking for a director to manage the day-to-day operations of the centre, reporting to the parent management committee. The Director is responsible for managing the centre team, including preparing staff rosters and ensuring regulatory requirements and centre policies are met. The Director is the primary point of contact for families including tours and sign-up of new families and communication to families. The Director oversees the implementation of the Quality Improvement Plan, and assessment and rating process under the National Quality Framework.
