Randstad Education is seeking an experienced Centre Director to lead an early learning centre located in Queanbeyan, NSW.About the centre Your new centre is operated by a leading and experienced family owned provider which manages over 500 childcare centres across Australia.The early learning centre is currently rated meeting national quality standards and operates education and care programs from 7:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday. It is licenced for 90 children a day and caters to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old. The environment is nature based and open plan; featuring a sandpit, cubby house, natural garden and play equipment in the outdoor area. Curriculum The service offers comprehensive early education programs based on children's ages, strengths and interests. The curriculum is play based and designed to provide the best possible learning experiences and help children develop a love of life long learning. The centre provides a combination of indoor and outdoor activities to allow for individual learning, small group learning, and large group learning.This includes regular excursions and incursions, language lessons, along with sustainability, cooking, sport, music and movement themed programs. The goal of a play based, child led curriculum is to provide children the time and space to test their limits, build skills and dispositions for learning. This supports children to develop their sense of identity, individual wellbeing, self-confidence and connection to the world around them.
