Key responsibilities:
Strategic sourcing and materials and services from mainly local, and some international suppliers
Driving the implementation of forward-thinking strategies such as supplier consolidation, and robust category management
Identifying new opportunities and partnering with your existing suppliers to add mutually beneficial value
Encourage collaboration between a diverse range of stakeholders and supply chain to align objectives and achieve customer deliver outcomes
Analysis and reporting of supplier performance, supply chain risks and procurement activities to identify opportunities for improvement
The successful applicant will require:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing or supply chain
You will be passionate about achieving sourcing outcomes and eager to share this knowledge with your stakeholders
Ability to achieve savings and experience reviewing existing contracts and identifying opportunities for improvement
Experience working in a medium to large sized business
