About the Role:

  • Receive and review high volume of requests
  • Conduct planning and make reasonable and necessary support decisions
  • Apply legislation, operational guidelines and particular organisational requirements
  • Conduct meetings and source information from clients about their particular needs
  • Considerable client care and communications
  • Obtain specific internal assistance and policy direction required
  • Ensure assistance, decisions and recommendations are of a high standard

About You:

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Skills in research and critical analysis
  • Highly desirable experience in health or government
  • Mentor and leadership qualities
  • Highly desired insurance claims/assessment background
  • Demonstrated statutory/assessment decision making experience
  • Dispute resolution experience
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment
  • An understanding of making decisions regarding legislation
  • Competent Excel skills
  • Ability to respond and prioritise urgent requests in a calm and efficient manner
