Randstad are currently recruiting for Customer Service Professionals to work with our clients in both the private and public sectors taking inbound calls for the disaster flooding in Townsville.

Delivering high customer service, the successful candidates will be required to work Monday - Friday, full-time hours with potential to work weekends, night shifts and overtime as required.

We are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated customer service representatives seeking an exciting opportunity to join a reputable company who are looking to make a difference to those effected by the weather event in North QLD.

These positions are temporary contracts based across various locations in Brisbane.

Purpose of this position

Claims Consultants are responsible for answering are large volume of inbound calls from customers regarding the level of damage to their property or assistance, administrative duties including data entry of information, outbound calls to members to discuss their claim applications and any other adhoc duties as required.

*These contracts will be ongoing depending on the level of catastophy.*

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Entry of claim information
  • Inbound calls from members to discuss their claims
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Work well under pressure
  • Ascertain the nature of member requests and deal with the in the appropriate manner according to the policies and procedures
  • Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner
  • Some outbound calls to members
  • Work collaborative in a team environment

To be considered for the role you must have:

  • Quick and efficient learner
  • High attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Experience in customer service – Retail, Hospitality or Contact Centre – Insurance experience highly regarded
  • A strong passion for delivering high quality customer service
  • Strong resilience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent team player and time management skills
  • An intermediate level of PC skills
  • Be able to commence asap and work over the Christmas period

You must have the relevant customer service focus in accordance to the role. Enthusiastic attitude and attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
