Randstad is currently working with a top-tier defence company on a critical enterprise network modernisation program.This company will lead the planning and designing of the communications, surveillance systems, and network services to support the critical air traffic control functions. To support them with this project they are looking for an experienced Business Process Analyst with a background in Telecommunications Network Technology.
This is a contract opportunity based in Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities
- To own the responsibility for the End to End Processes baselining, analysis, improvement, re-engineering, modeling (documentation) of Telecom operator business processes as per TMFORUM Business Process Framework (eTOM).
- Assess the existing business processes automated on different systems and identify the impacted processes and the requirements for processes improvement and redesign in full alignment with business process owners and stakeholders.
- Build business process performance management framework with fit for purpose and relevant process KPIs in alignment with business and operations objectives and KPIs (cascading business and operations objectives and KPIs to process level KPIs).
- To ensure all processes within the assigned scope are developed and documented in accordance with the eTOM standard and Telecom operator standards and are accessible and available for business process stakeholders via the business process management tool.
- Processes scope cover functions of: infrastructure planning /design/implementation,cloud operations, network operations, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, applications management, and BI / Analytics operations among others.
Areas of Expertise
- Bachelor's Degree of Telecommunication Engineering or related field.
- Established record of Telco Experience (TELECOM Business Process Architecture).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in related work areas, with practical process management responsibility.
- Redesign current eTOM Process.
- Full understanding of OSS/BSS Processes with established in depth experience in re-engineering these processes as per eTOM standard.
- Proficiency in business process modeling and governance and tools (BPM Tools).
- Business Process Framework (eTOM) Certification.
- ITIL Certification.
- Conceptual thinking and analytics.
- Excellent communication skills.
- General management, organisational skills.
- Good level of presentation skills.
- Leadership and impact.
- Excellent understanding of Telecom organisations and the roles and responsibilities of all business areas.
- Creative thinking.
The candidate must be an Australian citizen and be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
