    My client is a market leading water services provider who service customers across a
    variety of industries including Mining, Oil & Gas, Industrial, Construction and Agriculture.

    Based in Papua New Guinea, they have been in successful operation for a number of decades
    and continue to grow across all aspects of the business, providing a range of products such as
    pumps, tanks, water treatment plants, filtration and valves with major focus in supplying quality
    equipment for any water supply requirements.

    Position

    Due to consistent growth across the business, an important role of Business Manager has been
    established to run the company’s operations in Papua New Guinea. There will be an array of
    duties with this role that will ultimately oversee overall operations including project management
    as well as managing the admin, installations, managers, sales & service teams.

    Key responsibilities include:
    • Operations management including overseeing of design, sales, installation and maintenance of key products
    • Ensure the completion of projects in a timely manner
    • Providing support to all staff members across a number of teams
    • Liaise with employees and customers regarding different technical issues and opportunities
    • Provide technical support
    • Assist with preparation and submission of large tenders
    Benefits
    • Generous remuneration package ($200k+) - circa $170k Base (Neg) + Vehicle/Tools of trade + Accommodation paid for + Incentives

    Candidate

    The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in water technologies (or closely related
    engineering field) as well as managing teams & operations in a B2B industrial markets setting.

    The following experience will be highly advantageous:
    • Experience on large operational projects overlooking sales and services teams
    • Ability to relocate to Papua New Guinea (must)
    • Experience working with or in PNG prev. would be highly beneficial
    • Track record in water technologies products ideal
    • Strong operational and people leader
    • Strong client relationships management skills
