Job Description

My client is looking for a Business Development Manager to win new business across its targeted at corporates.. This is a highly visible role that will see you work with senior leaders, including CIOs, Finance and procurement.

The product is a corporate tax technology platform (an end-to-end web-hosted solution) that enables global tax compliance and accounting decision making across the entire tax life-cycle.

Responsibilities
Your key priorities will be primarily new business development, and building increasing value within the clients you establish to achieve overall revenue targets. You will attain these results by proactively engaging with new clients and, working with our consulting and leadership team, develop close relationships with customers to understand their business and provide them with a targeted solution.

Skills and experience
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong new business development experience, together with solution selling and consultative sales experience, including demonstrated experience managing long sales cycles. You will have SaaS sales experience within law/accounting or other professional areas. You will require a real passion for sales, a personal drive for success and a strong determination to achieve your objectives.

You will also bring the following:

  • Minimum of 3-4 years' experience in professional/solution sales or new business development.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong ‘hunter’ mentality, skilled at winning new business (white space)
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, presentation and consultative sales skills
  • Customer centric approach
  • Commercial acumen and ability to identify opportunities to cross sell solutions
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
