The Role

The purpose of this role is to achieve my clients commercial sales objective, via development & enhancement of commercial advanced case solutions sales, by developing/leveraging key relationships at various target customer organisations, developing sales opportunities and managing each through to realisation as sales orders to achieve the overall revenue objective.

The Responsibilities

 Prospect for and develop sales opportunities for engineered technical packaging solutions in the commercial market – including but not limited to Mining, Aviation, IT, Law Enforcement, Emergency Services and other market verticals.

 Manage those sales opportunities through to order placement and handoff to the Project Manager for production.

 Achieve the targeted revenue objective

 Contribute to the organisation’s ongoing product development process leveraging existing solutions and creating demand for the development of new designs by finding suitable needs in the market.

 Create a network of internal and external relationships that will enhance the market awareness of my clients business and leverage the company’s competence locally and internationally.

 Work with the Channel sales team to plan and execute periodic sales briefings to educate, train, and stimulate to assist in finding opportunities, and to keep sales representatives aware and involved with new projects where appropriate.

 Contribute to the company’s regular reporting requirements

 Preparedness to accept and adapt to the evolution of this role as the company develops over time.

 Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and employment agreement.

 Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance with the facility.

 Contribute to the business strategy by helping identify, prioritise, and build organisational capabilities, behaviours, structures, and processes.

 Demonstrates a constructive, integrated, cooperative and ethical culture through the organisation.

The Requirements

 Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent in Business Management, Business Administration or equivalent and minimum 6 years’ experience in a consultative Sales role.

 Maintains active involvement in the business community through networking, and continuing education/certification.

 Extensive customer engagement experience selling industrial products, including experience developing industrial/commercial product solutions

 Ability to engage, inspire, influence people

 Abilityto develop clear, actionable steps from overall strategy& complete projects meeting deadline/budget

 Excellent understanding of software programs, including SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, CAD and other appropriate software

 Ability to follow process and existing conventions, and have the ability to provide sensible process improvement input.
