Currently Randstad are recruiting for a software sales professional to join a successful organisation based in Melbourne. The company specialise in business management solutions that have been developed to be a seamlessly integrated, fully featured, sophisticated and easy to use as a business management platform. This role will have a nationwide territory.

In this role you will be responsible for capitalising on sales opportunities and educating new and existing customers. This will be achieved through a combination of cold calling, sales meetings and demonstrations.


Key accountabilities in this role will include:

  • Developing on any existing opportunities in your target market
  • Sales canvassing, cold calling and networking to establish new business relationships and develop new sales opportunities
  • Generate new leads and opportunities to build a strong sales pipeline
  • Secure and attend new face to face sales meetings
  • Understand technical information and communicate this effectively to ensure client understanding.
  • Follow-up from meetings.
  • Develop proposals and record sales information.
  • Keep up to date with competitor info and product offerings

Skills and experience required:

  • Knowledge of digital technology and web-based training tools
  • Experience in software sales
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Ability to present at C-Level
  • Ability to establish rapport with personnel at all levels
  • Exceptional written skills & verbal communication skills
  • Discipline with CRM activity
  • Confident negotiator with experience managing a full sales cycle
  • A good understanding of marketing and communication basics
  • Proven ability to analyse processes and ensure continuous improvement
  • Systematic approach to sales processes and business/sales/account management
  • Experience within the health sector industry (desirable)
