The Role:

As a BDM you will be responsible for identifying and converting new opportunities with new and existing customers.

This role requires self-management skills and the ability to work under own initiative, along with strong analytical, negotiation, influencing skills and the ability to close sales.

To be successful in this role you will have a proven and successful sales track record within the telco/ ICT market, in addition to strong capabilities in solution/relationship/insight selling to both existing and new customer opportunities is essential.

To be successful within this role you must have a proven track record of hunting for new business as well as managing existing client relationships, you will be a hunter and a confident communicator. You will always be looking at new and innovative ways to grow new and existing business.

Skills and Experience required:

  • Demonstrated track record in Business Development and Client Management in either the IT, ICT or Telecommunications Industries
  • A successful track record of achieving sales revenue targets.
  • Tenacious sales mentality with a resilient personality.
  • Proven ability to present effectively and to engage with key decision makers.
  • Ability to self generate leads and opportunities
  • Commercially astute with good awareness of business drivers and value propositions
  • Being a self-starter with strategic thinking and a get-up-and-go attitude.
